The Takes: World Series 2022, and the Almost Too Obvious Winner
Some of you squares think you have an idea who is going to win the matchup between the Houston Astros and the Philadelphia Phillies, but I fucking KNOW who it is, and it’s almost glaringly obvious.
The Astros are hot, and it’s led by Yordan Alvarez, just a beast that puts teams to bed after giving them a warm glass of milk. I mean, look at how he started these playoffs

Absolute ELECTRIC factory. Just a PISS missile coming from this man. The screaming of the crowd. Everyone jumping on their feet. Team of destiny, right?
WRONG
If you want to talk about destiny, and I mean DESTINY, we gotta look at those scumbags in Philly, The Fightin’ Phils.
To understand why this team is so fucking scary, you have to understand Philly. The bastards threw batteries at Santa for God’s sake.
I love the narrative of a good home-field advantage, and that is what will win Philly the series
“oH, bUt ZaBe AsTrOs ArE fAvOrItEs YoU iDiOt!!!!”
If you’re one of the morons that said this to themselves, then you haven’t looked at the schedule.
I like the idea that the home team is going to win every game, so let’s take a look at the first six games, cause that’s all this series is going to take…
Game 1: in Houston (Astros Win)
Game 2: in Houston (Astros Win)
Astros lead series 2-0
Game 3: in Philly (Phillies Win)
Game 4: in Philly (Phillies Win)
Game 5: in Philly (Phillies Win)
Phillies lead series 3-2
Game 6 is in Houston, so the Astros are the home team, right?
nope.
Look at the schedule, and not the MLB schedule…
That’s right, the Eagles play in Houston to face the Texans on Thursday night
So why is that important? Well, what’s going on the very next day?
The fuckin Phillies come to town for game 6
You’re going to tell me that those batter chucking Philly fans aren’t going to get their asses down there to watch their undefeated Eagles continue their streak, then watch the Phils’ finish the job?
It’s not like their job will care either, I’m sure everything but the DMV is going to be closed that week.
This is going to be the biggest party in the history of Philadelphia
So now, we have game 6 in the city of Houston, which is going to have more Phillies fans there than not
Imagine the bricks that Jose Altuve will shit down his leg when he steps up to bat and hears his city screaming for him to jump off a bridge and calling him a dirty cheater? Cause that is what those scumbag Philly fans are going to give him
Now if you are a player on the other end? What an amazing feeling that has to be to hear on the road, and baseball is a game of feelings. It’s so mental that any kind of edge can win or lose a game.
Phillies to win the series and Phillys to win in 6.
