That’s all it is. I like to write, and I like to make myself laugh. Nothing too serious

Gambling F.A.Q.

The most common questions I always get when talking about gambling are:

“What is a unit?”

So, a unit is what you risk on a game you would bet on.

“How much is a unit worth?”

This is different for everyone. The best way I can start to describe it is, you decide what you are okay with losing in one calendar year on gambling.

For this example let’s say that is $1,000. Split your $1,000 dollars into 100 Units (100 units is always your bankroll).

Now, by simple division, we know that 1 Unit would equal $10 here. ($1,000 ÷ 100 Units = $10 per Unit)

“How much should you risk on a bet?”

This is all personal, but most people agree with a common bet you go with 1 Unit. If I think a bet is an absolute lock, the most I go with is 3 Units. Some people are comfortable risking 5 Units on a bet, but just not my speed.

“Are you actually risking your own money”

Yep, and sometimes I get ice cold to the point you may feel bad. Please don’t. Instead, I would like you to let me know how terrible of a gambler I really am. (You can find my awful seasoned gambling history recorded on the Action Network here)
